I knew at a very young age I wanted to be involved in art. At age nine, I received a scholarship to a performing arts school, where I took acting and modeling classes. I went on to perform in plays and musicals for 10 years. I studied Acting at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and eventually graduated with my BFA in Film from Pratt Institute. While I still have a love for performing, I am grateful to be exploring my passion for film. I began making films about my own life and what was familiar to me- exploring themes such as disability, mental illness, and family. I have fallen in love with documentary, and hope to some day direct digital ethnography. I believe we can learn a lot from cultures other than our own.
